Monday, June 7   6:30 - 9:30pm     Center Plaza Cassie Miller and the Gold Standard Cassie MIller won the 2005 LA Music award's Big Band Singer of the Year. She has toured with Perry Como, John Lithgow, Andy Williams and the Harry James Orchestras (to name a few) as featured vocalist. Her husband, well-known trumpet player Lee Thornberg, who is a founding member of the hugely popular Tower Of Power, was also, until recently, a member of the Tonight Show Orchestra. They will be kicking of the Galleria Live! swing dance series with their band Cassie Miller And The Gold Standard. Free Swing Dance Lessons Want to get some tips on swing dancing? Don't be shy.
