Sherman Oaks Galleria Cancels Saturday Evening Concert Series
The Sherman Oaks Galleria announced today that it is canceling the
remainder of its Saturday night Summer Concert Series starting with the
Saturday, July 2 performance of Helicopter. This action has been taken
at the request of the Los Angeles Police Department after a single
Sherman Oaks homeowner filed noise complaints.
The community concert series - free to the public - was scheduled to run
most Saturday evenings through August 27 starting at 7pm and ending at
10pm in the Sherman Oaks Galleria's Center Plaza. Cancelled concerts
include July 2: Helicopter; July 9: Masta; July 16: Playback; July 30:
3-D VA; August 6: Urban Dread; August 13: Pure Harmony; August 27: Cuppa

The Sherman Oaks Galleria is the landmark dining, shopping,
entertainment and office center at the junction of the 101 and 405
freeways on the corner of Ventura and Sepulveda boulevards in Sherman
Oaks, California, at the center of LA's San Fernando Valley.
